Echinacea Purpurea
is the herbal 'superfood' for your horse’s immune system. It is one of the most widely used herbal remedies in both the human and veterinary world. Immunex-Plus contains an exceptionally high level of Echinacea extract in which the concentration has been further enhanced by the extractive process. Traditionally used for its beneficial effects on the immune system, research in the USA has shown Echinacea to be effective both in tissue regeneration and to help with the body's ability to reduce an inflammatory response. One of the major features found in feeding Echinacea to horses is the enhanced stimulation of white blood cells into areas of infection and the optimisation of the size and quantity of red blood cells. It has been concluded that Echinacea effectively acts to support equine immune defence and would be recommended for horses under stress, or to maximise support through heavy workload and performance.

Antioxidants Vitamin C + E
are vital for the immune system. They act to maintain normal muscle function and 'mop up' tissue damage resuting from exercise as well as promoting the recovery and repair of all muscle cell membranes.
